I created this slide show suing the Ignite format. I was able to upload it using Slide Share. I thought that this was a great idea to make a presentation on something. This type of activity easily fits under technology standard 1, bullet a- promote, support and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness.
This activity could be changed or students to be utilized as a formative or summative assessment for a unit of study. This type of activity would fit under technology standard 2- Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments, bullet d- provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
The activity as a whole also fits well under technology standard 4- Promote and Model Digital Age Citizenship and Responsibility, bullet b- address the diverse needs of all learners by using learner-centered strategies providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources.
